One year ago today my best friend asked me to be his Wife by placing a set of his dog tags around my neck. On the smaller chain hung a diamond ring. He took it off the chain, and placed it on my finger. He didn’t even need to ask the question. The answer was more than obviously, yes. 

Here we are exactly a year later, married and planning our future together.
We have come so far in just this short year. We have so many things to look forward too and so many memories to look back on. 

I love you Casey Dean. 

More than you could ever imagine. 

Thank you for making me the happiest person in the world this day a year ago, and every day since.

He has been everything I have needed, plus so much more.

I couldn’t imagine a better man for me.
I am so incredibly happy.

Although today IS valentines day, my valentines day started Friday and ended Sunday. <3

I spent the weekend with this man in this hotel room.

I drove down to Fort Gordon with his sister/my best friend. I saw him for like 10 minutes at first. While he was on duty, just to pick up his debt card so I could check into the hotel. those 10 minutes i saw him was worth the drive. I was so happy. and he was so excited to see me. He got off work at 12. I came back and we checked him out. <3 he was mine for the weekend. We spent the night together. I gave him his valentines gift. Which was a Nook Color. He is in love with it. He got so excited and kept playing with it the entire weekend. He reads all the time. it’s adorable. On Saturday we did everything together. just us. it was perfect. We woke up. we showered. we got dressed. we went driving around and went to the mall and walked around and just talked. We had P.F. Changs for Lunch, then came back to the hotel and took a nap. We went to Red Lobster for dinner, after we got lost and ended up in South Carolina? haha after that we went back to our room. We spent our last night together cuddling. we woke up in the morning packed our stuff back up. Then we drove around with his sister for a while. went to the mall again so she could look around. Went to T.G.I. Fridays for lunch. Then came the time I hate the most… :/ Back to Fort Gordon… Time for him to report back and for me to drive home… i walked him as far as he would let me, gave him a kiss told him i loved him and walked back to my car, looking back at him just to see him looking back at me. I got back in my car, put my hair up, put my sunglasses on, and drove away with tears in my eyes. I absolutely hate leaving him.

Then when I got back to the house I had this waiting for me…

a 54” Teddy Bear.. a rose, balloons, chocolate and a card. It meant the world to me…

I absolutely love it.. I’ve never had someone do anything like that for me before. I would have been happy with just seeing him. he always wants me happy. he always wants to be the one who makes me happy. he doesn’t care what he has to do to put a smile on my face. he’d do it with out even thinking twice…

I swear, i’m going to marry this man. 

Since it is Valentines day tomorrow I just wanted to repost this.
Last year, at the same time, I was in GA. Spending time with my Boyfriend.
Our first Valentines together, and it wasn’t even on the 14th.
We decided to celebrate it that weekend since he was still in AIT.

This year we will be celebrating it later.
But I am getting a Car Wednesday… Okay. WE are getting one.. But it will be MY car once mine dies. hahaha So I don’t mind waiting until we have more money to get each other something.

At least this year we will be together.

He is making dinner right now, singing country music, and as I read a post from a year ago, sometimes I still can’t believe it.

I married the man of my dreams.

I can’t even fathom the fact that I love him now, more then I did then, when I was sure a year ago that my love for him couldn’t get any stronger. 

So,

Casey Dean. I just wanted you to know that I love you. More than my words can even describe. I know I tell you I love you at least 5 times a day. Which, to me, isn’t nearly enough. I don’t think I could say it enough in one day to even put a dent in how many times I really want to tell you. You are still the same amazing man that I first laid eyes on. You know me better than myself most of the time. I really do appreciate everything you do for me, and for our future family. I love you sweetheart, I can’t wait to spend the rest of our lives together.
