We have never both said this song was “our” song. I’m sure it if was up to him it would be a country song.. Probably Honey Bee.. Because my Husband is a big hillbilly… hahaha

Well I have two:
One when he graduated AIT:
and the other one I don’t have a picture of HIM during it,
But the second one was when he received a coin of excellence, which for his rank, is kind of rare. His Platoon Sargent just got his first one a month before Casey did. I wish I could have been there to see him get it. But it was with the JNN equipment and I am not authorized to be in that area.. I was so proud of him for getting it though.

I just used plain old College ruled Notbook paper! :)
Only during basic though, we haven’t gone threw a deployment.
And our letters weren’t really love letters.. No one poured their heart.
We weren’t together. He actually didn’t even know I had feelings for him.
Those letters where just me planting my love seed in his head.. hahahaha

The day after we got engaged and I left to go home has been my favorite. It was my favorite because it was finally real. As much as I didn’t want to leave his side, I knew the next time that I would see him I would be his wife. I cried before I got on that plane. I cried as soon as I walked away. On the way home I just kept looking at my ring. We had technically already been engaged. We already had everything planned. The ring on my finger just made it that much more real. I just sat there and looked at it the entire ride home. Then getting home at midnight and reading that message. it just made me want to pack up everything and move there that night. Haha Looking back at those pictures and reading that message from him makes me want to cry again. It is definitely my favorite “see you later”. I love my lovebug.
